Coronation Street: Kit admits he is 'not always a nice person'
Coronation Street fans have ‘worked out’ who will bring down bent copper Kit Green.
The bent copper, played by Jacob Roberts, first rocked up to the cobbles this year, as Bernie’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost child. Soap favourite Bernie gave up a Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption almost thirty years ago.
And a few months ago, she eventually tracked him down. Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) were left stunned to find out they had another brother.
What’s more, Kit also had a part to play in sicko Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) getting sent to prison for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan'S van and framed him.
Since then, Kit has become a regular on the cobbles - and has caused plenty of drama. This week, he ended up forcing Beth Tinker (Lisa George) to leave the street, after she attempted to play him at his own game.
Beth had caught Kit in cahoots with troublemaker Sid - who has been flogging counterfeit goods. In a bid to get evidence and blackmail him, Beth filmed their interaction and threatened Kit - leaving him raging.
However, after Beth’s son Craig (Colson Smith) confessed to Kit about the cover-up of Faye Windass and Emma Brooker's hit and run in 2021, Kit used this to his advantage.
But, later on, Beth confided in Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) - who has already shared his concerns about Kit - which Kit saw.

Taking things one step further, Kit then demanded Beth to leave Weatherfield, or he would tell the police about Craig’s cover-up.
However, while Kit appears to have everyone folded, fans reckon one resident is on to the bent copper. Sharing their thoughts online, fans are certain it will be Daniel who brings down Kit.
“I think Kit needs a wake-up call he's too smug for my liking,” said one fan on a Corrie Facebook fan page. Someone else replied: “I think Daniel will be the one for that,” while a third penned: “Hopefully Daniel will sort Kit out.”
Meanwhile, on X, another viewer wrote: “Daniel has got you all sussed kit. Your lies are not gonna stay hidden forever never does.” A fifth proclaimed: “Daniel vs Kit… the next big rivalry.”
