Where is BBC's Beyond Paradise filmed? A look at the stunning coastal location
Death in Paradise's spin-off show Beyond Paradise has proved to be a huge hit since returning to the small screen, with fans having fallen in love with its stunning locations in Devon.

Beyond Paradise fans have gone wild about the stunning coastal village it is set in with many wondering where Shipton Abbott is. The BBC spin-off show Death in Paradise is in its second season but has proven to be a huge hit with viewers.
Following on from their life in Saint Marie, people are loving seeing Detective Humphrey (Kris Marshall) and his fiancée Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) back on our screen. Despite following their journey to parenthood and their new lives, DC Humphrey has been getting stuck into the wild crimes in their new hometown.
Shipton Abbott is a fictionalised town which is meant to be based on the Devonshire coastline. The show's creators made it up just like they did with Saint Marie in Death in Paradise
Although viewers are led to believe the filming takes place in Devon, most of it is shot in Cornwall. The main location is Looe, which is a stunning seaside town in Southwest England.
The breathtaking area boasts a picturesque pier, sandy beaches, and a quaint coastal village. Looe, especially in the summer is a real-life paradise.
Looe is the perfect backdrop for the hit show as represents the life Humphrey and Sally wanted.
If you fancy taking a trip down to the town there are plenty of attractions to visit which feature in the programme.
One of the top sights is Looe Bridge, the iconic arched bridge that appears on the show.

While Fore Street has become increasingly popular to stop off due to serving as Shipton Abbott's market square.
Meanwhile, The Guildhall in the heart of the village doubles as the police station where Humphrey is often heading.
Although the show does occasionally film in Devon, too — for instance, scenes at the boatyard are shot at Bere Alston.
Humphrey is often spotted in scenes down in the yard with his beloved duck Selwyn.
Last month the actor, 50, spoke about his aquatic co-star in an interview revealing she gets special treatment on-set.
Kris said that Selwyn is a female whose real name is Mech. Before joking: “The duck is called Mech because of the noise she makes. She is a very well-treated duck, she even has her own trailer.”
