Olivia Henson's £343 subtle wedding outfit detail to keep special tradition
Olivia Henson has followed a sweet wedding tradition with her footwear choice as she marries Hugh Grosvenor today in Chester.
Olivia Henson has been spotted wearing blue shoes for her lavish society wedding to Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, today (June 7) at Chester Cathedral.
An old wedding rhyme dating back to the Victorian era states that the bride should wear 'something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue' when she walks up the aisle.
With her gorgeous footwear being her 'something blue', it seems likely that Ms Henson has chosen to keep up the tradition on her wedding day.
The bride arrived at the cathedral this afternoon looking windswept but beautiful, accompanied by her father and her chief bridesmaid, who helped to arrange her flowing train and veil in spite of the blustery weather.
The stunning shoes are from the Spanish bridal store Silvia Lago, costing £343.
Prince William, an old friend of the groom's, is serving as an usher for the big day in north west England, with the ceremony set to be followed by an extravagant wedding reception at the Duke's family home Eaton Hall.

Ms Henson's wedding dress and veil have been designed by Emma Victoria Payne, who also hand-drew the exquisite embroidery onto the gown.
The design was inspired by floral motifs and edgings from Ms Henson's great-great grandmother's veil worn around 1880, an element of her look which could easily be her 'something old'.
For her 'something borrowed' the bride wore the Grosvenor wedding tiara, the Faberge Myrtle Leaf Tiara, which all the brides from the Grosvenor family have worn on their respective wedding days since 1906.

The future Duchess of Westminster carried a bouquet of flowers selected specifically from the gardens at Eaton Hall, where she and the Duke are planning to settle.
The bouquet is made up of Meadow grass, Ox eye daisies, Iris, Rose, Clematis, Mock orange, Scabious, Sweet pea, Astrantia, Martagon lily and Love in a mist.
The wedding of Olivia Henson and Hugh Grosvenor has been a huge cause of celebration for the residents of Chester, with thousands of well-wishers lining the streets close to the venue.
Earlier today the bride and groom issued a statement saying they were "moved" by all the messages of support on their "incredibly special day".
