The Invictus Games has shared a video on its social media marking it's 10th anniversary, and Prince Harry makes a special appearance.

As posted on X, the caption alongside the video read: "Thank you to everyone who joined us earlier in May to celebrate 10 years of changing lives and saving lives at the #InvictusGames Foundation.

"Here's a look back at the Service of Thanksgiving from St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate that #IAM10 and #IAMHere."

The video boasts clips from the special ceremony, which took place in London on May 8 and so no other members of the Royal Family attend, as they were at a Buckingham Palace garden party some three miles away.

In one clip, Harry - who founded the Games in 2014 - is seen waving at crowds outside as he made his way into St Paul's Cathedral.

In the three-minute video, Harry can also be seen giving a speech from the pulpit.

He quoted a verse from the bible, saying: "To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."

No members of the Royal Family were seen supporting Harry at the ceremony last month, but a few family members from his late mother's side joined him in London.

The late Princess Diana’s siblings, Charles Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes made an appearance at the service.

Prince Harry flew into the UK the previous day, May 7, leaving shortly after and travelling to Nigeria with his wife.

The event commemorated 10 years of the Games and, acccording to the video, the "achievements of the numerous competitors across 23 nations".

Ahead of Harry's visit to the UK, a spokesperson confirmed that he would not be meeting with his father during his visit to the UK.

Harry's spokesperson said: "In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the Duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.

"The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."

Prior to her husband's visit, Meghan Markle's attendance had not been confirmed. The mother-of-two chose to remain in the US with their children whilst Harry flew to the UK.

Much like for the King's Coronation last year, Harry travelled to the UK solo - leaving behind Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
