Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's youngest son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, celebrates his milestone first birthday today and the family are thought to be spending quality time together on this joyous occasion.

Over the course of the past year, Princess Eugenie has been selective with the pictures she has chosen to share of her son.

When the royal baby was born on May 30, 2023, he weighed a healthy 7.1lbs. A statement from Buckingham Palace said: "Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank."

The Princess of York shared two pictures on social media of the royal baby, shortly after his birth, one alone and one with his older brother August.

In the first photo, a cosy Ernest wears a knitted hat with a white blanket covering him and in the second photograph, royal fans could see August leaning over a cot with his hand gently touching a sleeping Ernest.
