Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be making their major red carpet debut on Sunday as the 96th Academy Awards brings out Hollywood’s biggest stars.
While the Duchess missed out on a mini Suits reunion at the Emmy Awards last month, some believe she will instead be joining the Oscars to support her close friend Misan Harriman.
The Nigerian photographer earned a nomination for his debut writer-director film, The After, which is in the running for Best Live Action Short Film alongside Wes Anderson’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.
Misa is notoriously close with the Duchess of Sussex, who even moderated a Tastemaker event to promote the film in November last year.
The photographer was also the one behind the iconic image of the Duke and Duchess that they released to confirm their second pregnancy.

While Misa and Meghan’s friendship goes years back, he also had a role in introducing the Suits star to her husband.
The fast-rising film star revealed, according to Marie Claire: “Meg reminded me that had I not introduced her to a mutual friend then she wouldn't have met Harry.
“I'm grateful for whatever small part I played.”
The celebrity photographer told People last month that his Oscars nomination still hasn’t quite sunk in yet: “I can't process any of this," and described Meghan's support throughout it all as "like a sister".
The After has already garnered a number of awards this season including Best Short Film at both the Astra Film Awards and the African-American Film Critics Association.
Meghan missed the Emmy Awards due to a scheduling conflict, but as the royal couple are reportedly looking to enter the entertainment industry some claimed attending arguably the biggest awards night in Hollywood would certainly seal the deal.
The Oscars have been making headlines since the nominees were announced as countless fans, and even fellow Hollywood A-listers, raged over Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie’s snubs.
The Barbie stars missed out on Best Director and Lead Actress nominations respectively despite being on virtually every other nominee list for this year’s awards circuit.
