Brent Briscoe dead: Twin Peaks actor passes away aged 56 after suffering fall
BRENT BRISCOE has died after suffering a fall earlier this week, according to reports.
Brent Briscoe has died at the age of 56
The 56-year-old actor passed away on Wednesday following a short stay in hospital.
Brent, who was famous for playing Detective Dave Macklay in the 2017 Twin Peaks season three, suffered internal bleeding and heart complications after a fall, Variety reports.
He was also a Parks and Recreation favourite, playing the proprietor of Leslie Knope's (Amy Poehler) beloved JJ's Diner, JJ himself.

His representative told the publication: "We lost a class act on Wednesday. Brent played hundreds of roles throughout his career but his greatest role was to his family and friends.
"He was as genuine as they come," the statement continued. "We will miss him dearly."
Twin Peaks creator David also paid tribute to the actor, saying: "I want you to know how much I loved working with Brent.

The actor suffered internal bleeding after a fall
"I worked with him on Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks," he added. "I loved him as an actor and a great person.
"I'm holding good thoughts for all of you. I will really miss working with Brent again."
Brent's acting career also boasted parts in The Green Mile, Desperate Housewives and A Simple Plan.
