Jill Scott has given her verdict as England take on the Netherlands in the second semi-final of Euros 2024, with both sides looking to secure a place in Sunday's final. The former Lioness, 37, won 161 caps for her country, was crowned Queen of the Jungle in I’m A Celebrity and is a regular commentator on both men’s and women’s football matches.

The footballing legend has since teamed up with Holland & Barrett to challenge the nation to keep moving this summer and raise funds for Sport Relief. While the TV pundit shared her top tips to get the nation to keep active, she also dished on how the England squad will fare in tonight's semi-final.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Jill admitted she hopes the team will see success. Giving a six-word prediction, she added: "We will be in that final."

"I was doing the qualifying games for England and I said all the way along they definitely have the squad of players to do it," Jill explained. "I know the performances haven't been brilliant but we're winning.

"You could have a look at say Germany who have been playing well and now they're not in the tournament. I think we would rather take a couple of rather poorer performances but I think their last performance was so much better."

She continued: "So to be in the last four is a fantastic achievement, especially with the talent that we've seen in this tournament. But I would love the nation to have a final to look forward to. That's when everyone will come together.

"That's when the barbecues come out and the family gets together to watch the game. You think about all of the young kids that will see their heroes in a Euros final is giving us goosebumps just thinking about it. But that's what it's all about. The power of sport.

"Everyone coming together and that quality family time. Hopefully, we can be cheering on the lads on Sunday in the Euros final."

Meanwhile, the sporting legend has kicked off her own charity challenges with Holland & Barrett for Sport Relief, by setting a trio of trending fitness challenges on social media, for the whole family to take part in.

New research reveals more than half of us are failing to hit the recommended 150 minutes of movement the NHS advises we do each week.

From those surveyed, Holland & Barret found that one in four admitted not sticking to a fitness goal despite the mental and physical benefits.

From one-legged squats to tests of balance and coordination, everyone can share their attempts at Jill’s challenges online with #TheMovementMovement and donate to Sport Relief.

Jill said: "We're trying to get the nation moving and I think especially since I retired you kind of realise how hard it is for people who have jobs to try and fit exercise in their life.

"It might just be walking the dog, or walking to the gym, or a little jog. I'm a massive believer in how much exercise can help your mental well-being. I'm so excited to team up with [H&B] and raise money for Sport Relief. If I can contribute in any way and raise money for Sport Relief and give people the opportunity to do sport I jumped at the chance. It was really good for me to get involved."
