The authorities are on the hunt for prime suspect Kyle Clifford, the ex-boyfriend of Hannah Hunt, imploring him to surrender himself. Clifford is still eluding capture and is potentially armed with a crossbow and other weapons.

The three woman have reportedly been identified as Carol Hunt, 61, Hannah Hunt, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, however formal validation is yet to be provided. It is believed that John was serving his duties at BBC Racing on the day of the incident and perhaps raised the alarm upon his return.

Louise is said to have started a dog grooming service named Groom and Glow during the Covid lockdown, while her sister Hannah ran a beauty business, according to reports.

Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson today described last night's attack in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, Hertfordshire as a "targeted incident" and stated that 26-year-old Clifford is "wanted in connection with murder".

He declared: "Our overarching objective today is to protect public safety and to locate Kyle Clifford, who is wanted in connection with the murder of the three women in what we believe is a targeted incident. We have extensive police resources deployed to various locations in north London and also the Bushey area."

"The manhunt also involves armed police officers and specialist search teams responding at pace in the wake of what has been a horrific incident involving what is currently believed to be a crossbow, but other weapons may also have been used."

He directly addressed Clifford, stating: "Kyle, if you are seeing or hearing this, please make contact with the police."

The three women were discovered early in the evening after police and ambulance services - including two air ambulances - were summoned to a home in Hertfordshire before 7pm. The trio had sustained serious injuries, but were alive when found. Tragically, all three women passed away a short time later.
