You'll never believe what spoiled brat Amber from Clueless looks like now…
SHE was the sharp-tongued "full on Monet" in the cult classic Clueless, but now Amber is all grown-up and looks a world away from how audiences remember her.
The 1995 American coming-of-age comedy follows the story of Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), a superficial and beautiful teenager whose interest in fashion stretches much further than anything else.
However, days spent parading around the mall, calling people "ensemble-y challenged" and attending parties with passé acquaintances gets increasingly tiresome as the story progresses.
After much soul-searching, and with the help of her pals Dionne (Stacey Dash) and Tai (the late Brittany Murphy), the bouncy blonde discovers her humanitarian side - as well as love.
Fashion victim Amber Mariens, played by Elisa Donovan, now 45, was a core member of the popular clique but symbolised the spiteful spirit of snobbish Beverly Hills girls.
Vilified by the film's lead Cher for being "Ambular", the fiery-haired teen spurted out all the 90s slang we remember so fondly ("Whatever!")
Always in constant competition with the morally-grounded but well-accessorised protagonist, Amber was the spoiled rich kid no-one really wanted to be friends with.
Clueless - Physical Education
She was described famously as a "full on Monet" - a reference to the French Impressionist painter - for being attractive from far away, but "up close it's a big old mess".
Born to wealthy parents named Tripp and Ginger, the brattish youngster competed with her fellow girls for the attention of boys while wearing Cher's maroon-velvet leftovers - "As if!"
Following her role in the film, Elisa went on to play the same character in the TV spin-off series which ran from 1996-1999 on ABC.
Other notable career endeavours include her parts as Morgan Cavanaugh on the sitcom Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Ginger LaMonica on Beverley Hills 90210.
The 45-year-old also featured in boy-band *NSYNC's 1999 music video for Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy) as the love interest of Joey Fatone.
She is now married to her husband Charlie Bigelow who she shares her daughter Scarlett Avery with.
Speaking to People previously, the actress said: "I hope that I create an image of a full woman for Scarlett, a woman who has goals and desires and thoughts of her own, but whose primary purpose is being her mom."
