Dallas legend dies aged 77 after suffering three strokes as heartbroken tributes pour in

Dallas alum Pat Colbert, who played Dora Mae, has sadly passed away aged 77 after suffering three strokes.

Pat Colbert has died aged 77 after suffering multiple strokes.

The actress, who portrayed Dora Mae in CBS drama Dallas, passed away on June 23.

Her passing comes after she had suffered three strokes over the last decade.

Pat appeared in the seventh series of Dallas back in 1983.

Her character Dora was the manager of the Oil Baron’s Club and starred in the show until the final season in 1991.

Pat went on to star in over 65 episodes of the long-running CBS soap opera, including the 14th and final season.

Following her role in Dallas, she appeared in episodes of Sisters in and True Colors in 1991.

Her first credited acting gig was in Eischiled in 1979 where she portrayed a model in the series which also featured Joe Don Baker.

Her acting credits also included Fall Guy and Capitol, a soap opera that ran from 1982 to 1987 where Pat portrayed Cora Mullens in the show.

Tributes for the actress have already begun pouring in, with @Principal_Fans sharing: "Sad news that Pat Colbert has died aged 77 #Dallas fans will remember Pat played Dora Mae, hostess at the Oil Baron's Club for eight years on #Dallas," on X (formally Twitter).

Another fan @DonaldJrPeebles wrote: "Pat Colbert, who played Dora Mae, the hostess of the Oil Baron's Club, on Dallas from 1982 to 1990, made the transition to the Ancestors #RIPPatColbert #DoraMae #Dallas," alongside some snaps of her from the show.

A third user @MikeBarnes4 added to the tributes, writing: "RIP Pat Colbert. Fans of ‘Dallas’ know and love her as the stylish Oil Baron’s Club host Dora Mae, who over eight seasons “played the role with elegance and intelligence,” expert Shaun Chang notes."

And @ckinneywork2 added: "It brings back sooooo many great memories of when I was working for the casting director of Dallas. And, yes, Pat Colbert was a true lady..."
