Anais Gallagher, daughter of rock legend Noel Gallagher, has ignited a fiery debate among hardcore Oasis fans vying for tickets to the band's hotly-anticipated reunion tour next year.

The 24 year old model and photographer waded into the fray via social media, defending newer fans of her dad's legendary rock group after some longstanding Oasis aficionados claimed they had more right to attend the reunion concerts.

With the iconic Oasis gearing up to hit the road again in 2025, fronted by the Gallagher brothers renowned for their bitter spats, they are set to perform 14 sensational gigs throughout the UK and Ireland, including an unforgettable night at Manchester's Heaton Park. Owing to the fans' insatiable hunger for more, the tour organisers have now included an extra date.

As the clock ticks down, excitement amongst the Oasis faithful has reached fever pitch, with the bands fan base clashing over ticketing rights this following news that the pre-sale ticket application deadline was extended amidst a 'last-minute surge', as legions of followers scrambled to secure their spots for the monumental shows.

Caught in the crossfire of this generational skirmish, OK! Magazine reveals how impassioned long-time devotees argue that the younger contingent simply lacks the long-honed loyalty, accusing them of hopping on the Oasis bandwagon, according to reports from the Manchester Evening News.

In a pointed rebuff to entitlement claims, one exasperated fan expressed their discontent to X: "Imagine waiting 15 years for Oasis to reform only to lose out on tickets to Chloe, 21 from Stockport who just wants to hear Wonderwall live. #oasisreunion."

One fan expressed disappointment over the possibility of missing out to those who prefer chart-topping hits like 'Wonderwall' over lesser-known tracks, stating: "Imagine spending years waiting for your favourite band's reunion, only to have the tickets get snatched up by someone who's more interested in mainstream hits like Wonderwall than the deeper cuts."

Anais Gallagher has taken to TikTok to defend younger female fans of her father's band from 'ageism and misogyny' by older supporters.

In response to a video by another young fan expressing frustration over the issue, Anais commented: "One thing I won't stand for is the ageism and misogyny around people getting tickets. Sorry if a 19-year-old girl in a pink cowboy hat wants to be there, I will have my friendship bracelets ready."

The original TikTok video was created by Josie Cannell, who responded to an Oasis superfan claiming that many people 'suddenly love' the band now that they've announced their comeback. She retorted: "Babe, it's Oasis. It's actually Oasis, do you know what I mean? They have 21 million listeners monthly on Spotify. Everyone f****ng loves them".
