Liam and Noel Gallagher confirm Oasis reunion for 2025

Noel Gallagher has finally opened up about the events surrounding Oasis’ devastating split in 2009 as he was questioned about their reunion

On Thursday, four youngsters met the lead guitarist while shopping in London and although they didn’t recognise the star, their amazed father said Oasis is his “legendary band”.

This led his eldest daughter to have a revelatory moment and ask: “Wait, is he getting back with his brother?”

This resulted in a barrage of questions in what appeared to be Noel’s first unofficial interview since their reunion was announced.

One child who was clutching a Winnie the Pooh bear cheekily probed: “Why did you fall out with your brother?”

Without hesitation, Noel responded: “Because he stole my teddy bear,” to which the boy said: “You're lying,” before giggling with the rocker.

“Not lying,” Noel said, “He stole it in 1978,” the youngster who was unimpressed bluntly hit back: “You're fake. See ya,” and stormed off.

The Oasis star continued to joke with the children as they walked down the street towards his car and jokingly asked: “Can you drive?”

The boy replied: “Yeah,” before adding: “I'm only 11.”
