Strictly Come Dancing stars Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington have reunited just days after announcing their split. Fans were left in shock when the pair announced last week that they had called time on their relationship.
The former couple first started dating two years ago after meeting on the BBC dance competition. It has been reported that they went their separate ways after the end of their joint tour, Behind the Magic, which ended in June.
Nadiya and Kai have now been seen together as the Strictly professionals return to work ahead of the 2024 series. Nadiya posted a group photo of the dancers on her official Instagram page, with Kai positioned away from Nadiya.
She penned: "The best things in life are about family and it’s great to be back with the @bbcstrictly team. The new series is going to be amazing. I can’t wait for you to see it."
Many of her 190,000 followers flooded the comments section with warm words ahead of her return. One person wrote: "Let's hope lady luck is with you this year Nads, hope you get a really good partner later on this year."

A second also chimed in: "That’s brilliant news @nadiyabychkova ! Didn’t see enough of you last season." A third typed: "So glad that your back and can’t wait for the new series to start @nadiyabychkova."
Strictly Come Dancing bosses have confirmed that the show will continue to run later this year, amid the sacking of professional dancer Graziano Di Prima.
Last week, it was announced that Graziano would not be returning to Strictly over his behaviour to celebrity partner, Zara McDermott.
The Italian dancer admitted that he "kicked" Zara during training rehearsals last year. He issued a statement on his shock departure, saying he "deeply regrets the events that led" to his exit.

Giovanni Pernice left the dance competition in June amidst allegations allegedly made by Amanda Abbington and two other celebrities. He denies all the allegations of "threatening or abusive behaviour."
Recently, Zara, 27, released a statement in regards to Graziano's sacking over claims of 'physical and verbal incidents.'
She penned on Instagram: “I have wrestled with the fear of opening up – I was scared about public backlash, I was scared about my future, I was scared of victim shaming. But after a lot of conversations with those I love, I’ve gained the strength to face these fears, and when I was asked to speak to the BBC, I spoke candidly about my time on the show.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
