Strictly's Nadiya Bychkova 'pulls out' of dance show after split with Kai sparks problem

Nadiya Bychkova reportedly pulled out of a dance event days after revealing her split from boyfriend Kai Widdrington. The professional dancers had been scheduled to host a Strictly Come Dancing themed event at Donaheys - a five-star Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.
Hotel guests were set to be treated to waltz lessons from the couple for Donaheys' Dancing With The Stars event. It has since been revealed that Latin dancer Rebecca Scott stepped in for Nadiya as she partnered with Kai at the event on Friday.
A source told The Mail On Sunday: "Nadiya is really angry at Kai. Goodness knows how this one will play out... she doesn't want to be in the same room as him.
"They have had a huge fall out and things are bad between them. There is a whole series to get through of dancing on the same show. The Strictly team are bracing themselves for this nightmare now."
Express.co.uk have reached out to Nadiya and Kai's representatives for comment.
On the official Donaheys Instagram account, Nadiya was seen in a video alongside Strictly star Katya Jones where the pair teamed up to perform a Rumba masterclass at the Celtic Manor Resort on Friday morning.
The new show crisis comes as the BBC continues its investigations following allegations against pro Giovanni Pernice and his training techniques with celebrity partner Amanda Abbington - who has since claimed she suffers PTSD after taking part in the show.
The 34 year old Ukrainian dancer has since addressed the reports surrounding Strictly after it was suggested she and Kai were keen to talk to the BBC as part of the current investigation into Strictly Come Dancing practices.
Nadiya posted two photos with her seven year old daughter Mila enjoying the sunshine, and wrote: “There have been lots of Strictly rumours around in the last few days and I just wanted you to know that I have not complained about the programme. I am looking forward to the new series and can’t wait for it to start.”

She ended the post by adding: “Enjoying a wonderful weekend with my family.”
The Strictly star has since reunited with former beau Kai as the pro-dancers returned to rehearsals on Monday.
In a photo uploaded by the BBC's official Instagram account, Nadiya beamed alongside her fellow colleagues including Kai, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer and Gorka Marquez to name a few.
It was captioned: "Day one of Strictly 2024 rehearsals done! We can't wait to share our new pro routines with everyone soon."
Dianne Buswell gushed: "We're back so exciting," while Motsi Mabuse penned: "Let's go."
Head judge Shirley Ballas added: "Exciting."
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One in the autumn.
