March Madness 2019 - Players to Watch
March Madness is nearly upon us and it gives fans the opportunity to see some of the best talent in college basketball in action ahead of the NBA draft.
The 68-team bonanza is arguably the most popular college tournament in the world, with millions tuning in to watch the action unfold.
But with the NBA draft just around the corner, there will also be some players worth keeping an eye on.
Here is five of the most exciting players to watch out for throughout the tournament.
Zion Williamson - Duke
There's no point trying to be smart about this - Zion Williamson is quite simply blockbuster, must-watch TV.
Projected to be the No 1 pick in this year's NBA draft, Williamson is defying the advice of some former pros by declaring that he will not sit out the NCAA tournament, and college basketball will be all the better for it.
Everybody has seen the extensive highlight reels of Williamson's ferocious dunks, but it will be fascinating to see the teenage sensation in a tournament situation with a national championship on the line.
Ja Morant - Murray State
Almost certainly the most gifted point guard in this year's draft and is leading Murray State into the NCAA tournament.
His tenacity on the floor and passing ability has seen him likened to Russell Westbrook and he won't need much improvement to be a force in the NBA.
But it has been the incredible jump he took from freshman to sophomore year which has made him one of the most exciting talents to enter the NBA in recent years.
Coby White - North Carolina
North Carolina have been somewhat overshadowed by the Zion Williamson show in Duke during the regular season so fans would have been forgiven for overlooking the performances of Coby White.
But the shooting guard is beginning to garner attention for all the right reasons heading into March Madness.
A natural shooting guard who is able to play position-less basketball and slots in perfectly to the modern NBA with his dead-eye perimeter shooting.
Jarrett Culver - Texas Tech
Definitely not one to be overlooked in the NCAA tournament and could help lead Texas Tech to a few upsets along the way.
Some NBA scouts are reportedly not completely sold on Culver yet, but a strong performance in March could see his stock rise exponentially.
Rui Hachimura - Gonzaga
Possibly one of the most intriguing players heading into the NBA draft and March Madness.
The 21-year-old continues to improve every month and has been a key part to Gonzaga's success this season and could likely be the guy to take them to a national championship push.
