Darron Gibson calls Sunderland s*** in foul-mouthed rant
Gibson was a second-half substitute as Sunderland were thrashed 5-0 by Celtic in a pre-season friendly yesterday.
And in a video posted on Twitter, it appears the Republic of Ireland international decided to go out after the match and was confronted by angry fans.
Gibson, who joined the Black Cats last summer, suggested a number of player didn’t care about the club but insisted he did.
He says in the video: “We’re s***. Of course I’m bothered, I don’t want to be s***.
We’re s***
Darron Gibson
“There are too many people at the club who don’t give a f***. You tell me who doesn’t want to be at the club?”
When asked which players didn’t want to play for Sunderland, Gibson claimed Lamine Kone, Jeremain Lens and Wahbi Khazri were among them.
Kone, Lens and Khazri are all likely to leave before the end of transfer window with negotiations ongoing.

West Brom and Burnley are understood to be battling for the signature of Kone.
Sunderland turned down a bid from Turkish club Besiktas for Lens last week because the bid fell short of their valuation.
While Sunderland boss Simon Grayson has said Khazri can leave the club if he wants to move on.
