Emmerdale split 'sealed' as star confirms couple 'won't pull through'
Emmerdale star Charlotte Bellamy appeared on Lorraine to talk about her character's upcoming storyline as Laurel Thomas is set to collapse in terrifying scenes.
Emmerdale: Charlotte Bellamy shares injury she suffered on set
Emmerdale star Charlotte Bellamy joined Lorraine on her ITV chat on Wednesday morning (July 3) and appeared to have confirmed her character Laurel Thomas' fate after she collapses.
During upcoming scenes, which will air on Wednesday (July 3), Laurel will find herself in a terrifying situation. When her husband Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) admits that he can’t face telling his half-brother Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon) the truth, Laurel is furious.
Not wanting their row to escalate even more, Laurel sends Jai away. However, when she’s alone things take a turn and it’s not long before she starts to feel dizzy and collapses on the floor.
Terrified by what’s happening to her, Laurel is barely able to move as her phone starts to ring. However, she’s unable to reach it due to her situation. When Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) finds Laurel struggling to breathe, she fearfully asks her stepdaughter to call an ambulance quickly.

Deciding to finally tell Suni the truth, Jai sits him down in The Hide and tries to build up the conversation he needs to have, despite his brother’s rambling.
However, with Gabby’s constant calls, Jai suddenly snaps although his anger subsides when he learns Laurel’s collapsed. Has the stress of discovering Jai’s secret become too much for Laurel to cope with?
Speaking about the forthcoming scene, Lorraine asked Charlotte what will happen to Laurel. The presenter commented: "I hope she's okay..."
Charlotte teased: "Yeah, I hope she's okay... but I think she'll pull through. I don't know about her and Jai though..."
In recent scenes, Laurel confronted husband Jai about his and Eric Pollard's suspicious behaviour.
Emmerdale viewers will remember that Amit killed Jai’s father Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) after pushing him down the stairs.
Jai made Amit leave the village and he also made him cut other son, Suni, out of any ownership of the HOP, signing over all the shares to just him.
Emmerdale continues weekdays on ITV from 7:30pm.
