Jurgen Klopp is busy preparing his Liverpool squad for his first full Premier League season
Klopp says getting the best out of his players and creating "a special bond" between his squad and the supporters is more important - as demonstrated in the Euros by Portugal, Wales and Iceland.
Klopp said: "If you want to have proof of the different ways that football can work you only have to look at the European Championships. There were wonderful examples of what football really is - about building a team, creating a bond between the team and supporters. When Iceland were playing, when Wales were playing, that was the best example of how football can work.
Liverpool's Most Expensive Transfers
"Everyone expects big names but if there is no chance of getting them then there is no point. Look for players you can have and make the best of it. I'm 100 per cent happy with the guys we have brought in until now."
