Martin Skrtel send heartfelt message to Liverpool fans
The Slovakia international ended his eight-and-a-half year stay at Anfield yesterday after Fenerhahce announced the transfer, believed to be £5.5million.
And the 31-year-old centre-half has now taken to social media to say it was a 'pleasure' and a 'privilege' to represent the Liverpool faithful.
He wrote on Instagram: "I would like to say big thanks to all Liverpool fans around the world for the support they [had] been showing to me and my family throughout 8 and half years!
"It was pleasure and privilege [to] represent such a massive club as LIVERPOOL FC. The club, city and fans will be in our hearts forever YNWA"

Skrtel, who finished his medical with Fenerbahce on Wednesday, joined Liverpool from Zenit St Petersburg in January 2008 and has made over 300 appearances for the Merseysiders.
Despite an injury-hit season due to hamstring and tendon problems, he made 27 appearances last term and helped them reach Europa League and League Cup finals and an eighth-place finish in the Premier League.
