His agent, Donati Di Campli, was reported yo have met with Barca presidential candidate Toni Freixa recently, which the Spanish press claimed was a clear sign that Verratti was heading to the Nou Camp.
But Di Campli has come out to refute those claims and instructed any interested suitors to go through PSG and not him when discussing a transfer.
He told Sky Italia: "I haven't seen Freixa, as was reported in the media, but I have spoken to him on the telephone.

"But I speak with a lot of people every day and it doesn't mean anything.
"Marco is absolutely calm, he is happy in Paris and has a long-term contract.
"Whoever wants him needs to get in contact directly with Paris St Germain and not with us. There's nothing else for us to add."
