Man Utd boss Ten Hag discusses Rashford's position
Manchester United expect new contract terms for Marcus Rashford to ‘take more time to finalise’, according to reports. The England international has been in stunning form this season, netting 29 goals across all competitions. And Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are both keen on the forward as the summer transfer window creeps closer.
Manchester United have seen Rashford bounce back from his woes under Ralf Rangnick and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season to re-establish himself as one of the best forwards in the Premier League.
And the Manchester Evening News say the Red Devils remain hopeful of keeping their talisman as the summer transfer window nears.
Rashford’s current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire in 2024, meaning the club face selling him this year or losing him for nothing.
PSG are keen on the 25-year-old amid uncertainty over the futures of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at the Parc des Princes.
And Barcelona are eyeing Rashford, too, with the Catalan giants previously considering a move for the United star back in 2019.

"We are a team. Like I always have said to everyone 'there's no I in team'. When we do things, we do things as a collective.
"We try and achieve the best that we possibly can. So all the coaches contribute.
“Everyone has their function in the team to try and just make the team have success and that.”
McCarthy’s comments came after Rashford had hailed the South African earlier in the season, with the England forward saying: “Benni has been great with me.
"Like I said before, with all the forward lads and you have to remember that Benni is part of a full coaching system so everyone plays their roles… so Benni is actually on top of what we need.

"Yes, his relationship with me is very good. We speak a lot, we are always analysing games and showing me ways to improve.
“You know, small things that can help me make more chances, more goals, maybe create space for other players as well. We are doing a lot of work."
Rashford is expected to start when United lock horns with Brighton on Thursday night (8pm).
The Red Devils lost 2-1 earlier in the season in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, with Pascal Gross netting twice for the Seagulls to give them all three points.
