Manchester United and Liverpool could be set for a transfer battle this summer, with both teams being linked with Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

Manchester United will meet with the entourage of Ryan Gravenberch as they look to sign the Bayern Munich star this summer, it has been claimed. The midfielder only left Ajax for the Allianz Arena last year. However, he’s struggled for regular game time and may now quit the Bundesliga giants as a result.
Manchester United signed two midfielders last summer in Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, while they also recruited Marcel Sabitzer on loan back in January.
However, regardless of what happens with Sabitzer, the Red Devils know they need more in the middle of the park.
Frenkie de Jong and Jude Bellingham have both been linked amid their fine performances for Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.
But Foot Mercato say United are one of the teams who ‘will meet’ with Gravenberch and his camp as they look to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag has a good relationship with the player, having previously managed the 20-year-old at Ajax.
