Erik ten Hag's top target Jurrien Timber has been urged to snub a move to Old Trafford by ex-Manchester United star Daley Blind.
The young defender has been earmarked as a key target this summer as Ten Hag looks to rebuild but Blind appeared to tell him not to join United.
Speaking after the Netherlands beat Belgium 4-1, Blind said: "He is wise enough to make his own choices.
"I don’t need to explain what kind of talent and player he is. How important he is to us. What he shows from the start though is unbelievable. Of course, as a teammate, I hope he stays for another year. I cannot influence that. I can only say that Ajax must do its best to keep him."
Chelsea are reportedly closing in on signing Ousmane Dembele.
A number of different reports have claimed that the Blues are clear leaders in the race for the Frenchman's signature and are on the verge of making him Todd Boehly's first signing.
Fans with sharp hearing believe they heard Tammy Abraham hint that he could be joining Liverpool from AS Roma this summer.
During England training, Abraham was filmed approaching Trent Alexander-Arnold and shaking his hand before saying: "Trent, good luck. I'm joining you guys next season."
The 24-year-old enjoyed a sensational first season in Italy, netting 27 goals in all competitions and lifting the Europa Conference League under Jose Mourinho.
But with Sadio Mane set to leave, could Liverpool have approached Abraham for a Premier League return to replace him?
Liverpool to get transfer fund boost because of Southampton
Liverpool will not need to pay Southampton a percentage of any fee they receive for Sadio Mane, according to reports.
Mane joined from the Saints for around £35m in the summer of 2016 and has gone on to have spend a remarkable six years at Anfield.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a departure though, including to Bayern Munich.
But the Daily Telegraph report that no sell-on clause was inserted into Mane's deal when he joined from Southampton, meaning Liverpool can keep anything they receive.
A fee of around £25m has been widely speculated as enough for Bayern to complete the transfer.
Man Utd target Frenkie de Jong praised by former Red Devils boss
Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal praised Red Devils transfer target Frenkie de Jong after the Netherlands thrashed Belgium on Friday night.
De Jong starred in the 4-1 win amid strong reports that he will join United ahead of next season.
A £72million swoop has been mooted as part of Erik ten Hag’s sweeping rebuild at Old Trafford.
Van Gaal provided a glowing reference for the current Barcelona star, telling journalists: "It is always a victory for the collective, but there are people who can excel in the collective which is of course great. There are always stars in certain matches, but in this one, Frenkie de Jong and Steven Bergwijn - that was incredible how those two played."
It came after Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk also had high praise for the 25-year-old midfielder.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
Managing director of football Fabio Paratici is keen to inject Antonio Conte's squad with more attacking quality to ensure Spurs can compete in the Premier League and in the Champions League next season.
Dejan Kulusevski was signed on loan in January and is expected to have his move made permanent after displaying some excellent form.
And Football London report that Saint-Maximin has been earmarked as a top target.
The Frenchman was in an out of the Newcastle team following Eddie Howe's arrival last November.
Arsenal have reportedly had a bid rejected by Sassuolo for striker Gianluca Scamacca.
The Gunners are desperate to sign a new forward after seeing their Champions League pursuit fail partly due to a lack of goals.
Alexandre Lacazette bundled just four top-flight strikes last term and will leave when his contract expires at the end of the month.
That leaves Arsenal keen to sign a major upgrade in attack, despite Eddie Nketiah signing a bumper new contract. The England U21s top scorer was also due to leave when his previous deal ended.
But according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, a bid for Scamacca has been turned down by Serie A outfit Sassuolo.
Chelsea set for huge windfall if Lukaku loaned to Inter Milan
Chelsea could be set for a massive £20million cash injection of Romelu Lukaku re-joins Inter Milan, according to reports.
The Belgian endured an underwhelming first season back in England following his £97.5m switch from the then-Serie A champions, despite a late flurry of goals.
Lukaku flirted with a return to Inter midway through the campaign and has been strongly linked with a move back to Milan.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Inter could pay as much as £20m to bring Lukaku back on loan.
That would be one of the biggest fees paid for a temporary spell.
Liverpool's contract talks with Mane and Salah 'contrasting'
Liverpool's contract talks with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have been vastly 'contrasting', according to reports.
Mane and Salah are both out of contract in 2023 and Liverpool have been desperate to tie them down to new deals.
However, while Salah has been keen to negotiate fresh terms, Mane made it clear that he wants to leave Liverpool this summer.
That is according to the Daily Telegraph, who report that Mane will soon join Bayern Munich is a much-speculated transfer.
The 30-year-old told journalists while on international duty that "60 to 70 per cent" of Senegalese people want him to leave the Reds. He quipped that he will do what they want.
Liverpool have conceded defeat in the race to sign Aurelien Tchouameni, according to reports.
The highly-talented Frenchman is now the subject of firm negotiations between Real Madrid and Monaco.
Tchouameni is understood to have told his current team-mates that he wants to join Real Madrid and now according to @MarioCortegana, Liverpool are out of the race.
The Reds were seemingly never prepared to pay the kind of money being quoted by the Ligue 1 side, so will instead explore other targets.
Aston Villa and Spurs have joined Newcastle in the race for Yannick Carrasco, according to reports in Spain.
The Belgian winger is said to be on the Magpies' radar but now two of their fellow Premier League clubs have entered the race for his services.
According to SPORT, Villa and Spurs are keen to land the highly-rated, versatile attacker - who scored for Atletico in the 2016 Champions League final.
Atletico Madrid could look to move him on this summer.
Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has confirmed he will pursue an Anfield exit this summer, while away on international duty with Senegal.
He told press: “60%-70% of Senegalese people want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will soon see.”
Southampton are believed to have a sell-on clause that will see them make a small profit from any figure Liverpool receive for Mane over £34m (what the Reds forked out in 2016).
Bayern Munich remain the frontrunners with talks set to commence with Liverpool in due course.
Alessandro Bastoni has confirmed his client is happy at Inter Milan amid strong interest from Tottenham.
The Italian is Spurs' top defensive target but is leaning towards staying with Inter.
“He is certainly a big fan of the team he plays for, so he will happily remain at Inter,” Tullio Tinti told Sportitalia.
“However, he is also a professional. This is football and he has to adjust. It’s clear he is very happy to play for Inter and feels this jersey like a tattoo on his skin.”

Arsenal have seen an offer in the region of £34m rejected for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to reports in Italy.
The target man has had an impressive season in Serie A, where he registered 16 goals for his club.
The Gunners have seemingly taken note and now Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla suggests an offer of £34m has been rejected by Sassuolo.
Mikel Arteta is looking for a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, who Arsenal confirmed is on his way out of the club on Friday. The Frenchman has agreed to rejoin Lyon.
Manchester United have reportedly opened the bidding for Erik ten Hag’s top striker target Darwin Nunez.
Yet it was not just any offer as according to Correio da Manha the Red Devils have submitted a player-plus-cash proposal involving Andreas Pereira.
The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Flamengo and sensationally, he recently caught the eye of United’s own scouts, sparking optimism he could still have a future at the club.
Now United are prepared offer him to Benfica as part of their attempts to secure the services of Nunez.
It’s unclear whether Benfica are willing to consider swap deal offers for Nunez, who they value at £67m after he hit 34 goals in all competitions last season.
