West Ham boss David Moyes is insistent that he has no regrets over the decision to let Mark Noble take the last-gasp crunch pressure penalty that was saved by David de Gea as Manchester United snatched all three points at the London Stadium. Just minutes after conceding the heartbreaking eventual winner from former player Jesse Lingard, the Irons were handed the chance to win a share of the points at the death in east London after Luke Shaw stopped a cross with his arm.
Declan Rice flirted with taking the penalty but some dialogue on the bench between Moyes and Noble saw the veteran invited to be the hero.
The Hammers captain was summoned from the bench to take the hugely pressured spot-kick, only for his penalty to be saved by the United goalkeeper.
He placed the ball to De Gea's left but the Spaniard was equal to it as the Red Devils secured a vital three points.
Speaking after the game, Moyes is adamant he would make the same decision, which is now being heavily criticised following the save, again should he have the chance.

"He has a great record, why would we not? We've missed a few recently so I thought I'd take the opportunity to bring Mark on.
"I think are all enjoying the game more because of how the referees are going about their jobs, I thought the referee did a great job today."
Said Benrahma's deflected effort put West Ham ahead before Cristiano Ronaldo hit back for United with a quick-fire equaliser.
United then snatched the win at the end through former Hammer Lingard, who curled beautifully into the top corner.

The game was not short of VAR controversy though and both sides could have easily had penalties on a number of occasions.
Tomas Soucek was chopped down by Aaron Wan-Bissaka only for Martin Atkinson to award United a free-kick.
Ronaldo was also brought down on two occasions by Vladimir Coufal and Kurt Zouma but VAR was happy with both challenges, surprisingly.
