Transfer update: Klopp 'wants three players' as PSG eye Pogba
Liverpool are ready to have a summer clear out this transfer window in a bid to raise funds to bring in some players on Jurgen Klopp’s wish list as he seeks to recruit a new midfielder and a new forward. According to The Athletic, the nine players deemed surplus to requirements are Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson, Nat Phillips, Neco Williams, Sheyi Ojo, Loris Karius, Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Klopp can expect to recoup around £15million for Grujic and Wilson, both of whom have struggled to break into the first team.
Elsewhere on loan however, they’ve certainly enjoyed success at Porto and Cardiff City respectively.
It wouldn’t be a shock if guru director Michael Edwards could probably even get more for them, as they are both still relatively young and high-level players.
Loris Karius was Liverpool’s number one for a season and he’d enjoyed a semi-successful season with the club, battling it out with Simon Mignolet to be first-choice keeper, before disaster struck.
A Champions League final against Real Madrid was to be his undoing, making two very costly errors that led to the Reds' defeat in Kiev.

Like Philips, Williams will be on his way out this summer as well. They can expect to get around £10m for the Welsh international.
He has struggled for game time purely because of the ascendence of Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, and the Scouser won’t be shifted soon.
Divock Origi has been at Liverpool since 2014, however the Belgium international has slowly resorted to solely warming the bench, due to the dynamic front three of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Liverpool could look to get around £15m for the forward, who has been a loyal servant over the years, grabbing some extremely important goals in the process.
Xherdan Shaqiri will return from Euro 2020 with bags of confidence after playing out his skin for Switzerland.

However, club-wise, he hasn’t been such a beloved figure, and does not seem to fit into Klopp’s plans for the future. Liverpool could likely resell him for what they paid, around £13m.
Sheyi Ojo and Taiwo Awoniyi are both young talents who have not sufficiently impressed the German manager and both look likely to leave this summer to put some more money into Klopp's transfer kitty.
The enigmatic head coach has struggled for funds the past two seasons, so it seems the only way to recruit some top talent is to sell what they have produced.
All nine players are established players, so Edwards and Klopp could end up with quite the kitty sometime soon.
Klopp is keen to sign Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez and PSV’s Donyell Malen, and they’ll likely cost around £80m together, so Liverpool best get selling if they want to snap the pair up.
