Luis Suarez didn't hold back in criticising Barcelona's treatment of him after leading Atletico Madrid to La Liga glory on Saturday. Little under 12 months ago, Suarez was cast aside by Barcelona and pushed out of the door.
“They underestimated me and Atletico opened their doors to give me an opportunity.
“I will always be grateful to this club for trusting in me."
Barcelona were in the race to win La Liga heading into the final few games of the season with Messi putting in some stellar performances.
But they ultimately fell by the wayside when it mattered most with just two points against Atletico, Levante and Celta Vigo.

Real Madrid were the only team who could snatch the title away from Atletico on the final day.
Zinedine Zidane's side faced Villareal, who were battling to finish in the Europa League qualification spots.
And Unai Emery's side took a 1-0 lead into half-time as Real's chances slipped away.
Late goals from Karim Benzema and Luka Modric turned the game around to give them a glimmer of hope, but Suarez's winner for Atletico proved to be the decider.
