Real are still confident Odegaard is a part of the club's future, with his contract running until 2023.
Ahead of the Europa League last-32 first-leg clash against Benfica on Thursday, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was full of praise for Odegaard's impact at the club.
"He’s a really focused and humble boy that was really keen to join, but he just wants to play football in the right way and then he said some really good things," Arteta said.
