Solskjaer has regularly praised the 18-year-old for his efforts in training so far and, on Saturday, he scored twice on his debut for the Under-23s against Liverpool.
Both players are yet to feature for the first team but Tribal Football claim United are ‘buzzing’ about the pair, believing they’ve struck gold with their arrivals.
It’s claimed those at Carrington rate the duo highly and are expecting big things from them in the coming years ahead.
United ‘know they’ve caught a break with Pellistri’, who has only been loaned out to Alaves so he can get some regular action.
They’re reportedly aware the teenager is too good for youth level and think a spell in La Liga will greatly enhance his development.

"Along the way we have got Mason [Greenwood], Marcus [Rashford], Daniel [James], Juan [Mata] and Paul [Pogba] has played there, so we have options but I think when you look at the squad and you look at Amad and you think, yeah, that's probably where we will work to fit you in."
Solskjaer has also previously hinted a Diallo debt isn’t too far away, saying: “It might be quicker than that [two or three months].
“I can’t see it being too long until he’s in the squad.
“He’s definitely settled down well. The players have taken to him, he’s a good character, polite, smiley boy who works really hard.
“He’s doing his sessions and getting used to us.

“There’s always a period of adjustment needed but he’s settling in well.
“He can handle the ball, he’s enjoyed training and he makes a difference in training, which is quite remarkable at his age.”
And Mason Greenwood has been impressed by Diallo, too, with the 19-year-old recently saying: “New player that’s come in Amad.
“He’s a wonderful technical player so I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him soon.”
