Liverpool: Mo Salah 'could be sold for the right price' says James
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah doesn’t know how long he will remain at Anfield but insists his future “is in the hands of the club”. The 28-year-old has blossomed into one of the world’s finest players since joining the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Roma.
Salah has scored 108 goals in 172 games for Liverpool and has helped Jurgen Klopp’s side win the Champions League and a first-ever Premier League title.
His success on Merseyside has, somewhat expectedly, resulted in speculation that Real Madrid or Barcelona could make an approach for the Egyptian star.
That appears an unlikely scenario in the imminent future – the La Liga giants have both taken a financial hit due to the Covid-19 pandemic – but it’s one that could still play out in the years ahead.
And when asked whether he would one day consider a move to the Camp Nou or the Bernabeu, Salah was honest in his response.

Yet while Salah is keen to break further records at Liverpool, he accepts the club will make the decision as to when he moves on.
“That's a tough question,” Salah replied when asked how long he will remain at Anfield.
“Right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club. Of course, I want to break records here and, I repeat, all the club records, but everything is in the hands of the club.”
The Liverpool forward has been in excellent form this term. He has struck 14 times in all competitions, 11 of which have come in the Premier League.
He is currently the division’s top scorer alongside Tottenham star Son Heung-min and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Salah has his sights on claiming another Premier League golden boot.
He said: “I always try to score goals to help the team win. And I have a good chance of being the top scorer for the third time as he says.
“But the most important thing is to win a great trophy with the team.
Salah added: “I would like to break all the club records, that would be fine. But yeah, it's like I said, the team comes first before any record.
“But breaking records and winning matches, that's great too.”
