“I understand the criticism around Kepa, often as a goalkeeper when you’ve lost the faith of your manager and the back four in front of you, it’s hard to regain.
“I think that’s telling, because it effects not just how Lampard is forced to set up, but how as a team you naturally sit deeper and don’t have that freedom.
“Given how talented this squad can be, more times than not they’ll play on the front foot, and that isn’t that much of a concern.
