Arsenal: David Luiz ‘shouldn’t be at club’ says pundit
Arsenal defender David Luiz was singled out for praise by Robin van Persie following the Gunners' FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City. Arsenal upset the odds by beating City 2-0 at Wembley thanks to a goal in each half from captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. But despite Aubameyang's goals, it was Luiz's performance at the back that earned Van Persie's praise.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand agreed with the praise of Luiz and was also impressed by Mikel Arteta's tactics.
"I have to agree," Ferdinand replied.
"He's come in for a lot of criticism in the last couple of seasons and a lot of it rightly so at times, he's made mistakes and you get criticised for that.
"But today, and I think the way they set up helped him, three at the back, three centre-backs, they packed out the middle of the pitch.

"They played with a defensive security, there was a stability about the way they played, they were composed defensively and what they had, which was brilliant tactically from Arteta, is that they had a sharp edge on the counter attack.
"When they went forward, minimal times yes over the course of a game because they were pushed back, but when they went forward they looked like a team very dangerous and capable of scoring and they got two very good goals."
Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead after a fine team move 19 minutes into the match.
And Van Persie was impressed with the finish from the 31-year-old.

"To hit this with the outside of his foot is really special because most players here go with their left," the Dutchman said.
"It shows you how great he is to go for the most difficult solution.
"To go there with a bounce, with the outside of his foot, the chances of this ball going in are really slim.
"So it just tells you how great a player he is."
