Man Utd: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer names his six-a-side team
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he’s ‘disappointed’ that the club didn’t score more in their 3-0 win over Sheffield United on Wednesday night. The Red Devils picked up all three points courtesy of a stunning hat-trick from Anthony Martial. But the Norwegian feels his side should be more ruthless in front of goal.
Manchester United went into the game against Sheffield United knowing they needed a win to boost their chances of securing Champions League qualification.
And Solskjaer, speaking afterwards, admitted that his side should have scored more despite them sticking three past Simon Moore in the Blades goal.
“Well of course when you get three points against one of the challengers for the top four or five positions you’re pleased,” he told BBC Sport.
“I’m very pleased with a clean sheet, attitude of everyone.
“We should have scored more goals, though. We create so many chances and opportunities to create chances so a part of me is a bit disappointed we didn’t score more.
“Of course though a hat-trick for Anthony Martial and we’re back on the winning trail.”

In a separate interview, Solskjaer hailed Martial and expressed his sadness the France international couldn’t celebrate his treble with the supporters.
“I'm very happy for Anthony scoring a hat-trick – it's just unfortunate that he couldn't celebrate with our fans.
“People will talk about his third goal, but it was his first two that really pleased me because he was in the box.
“We have worked a lot on Anthony getting into the box and getting into those situations.
“He could have got a goal against Tottenham as well. Anthony is in great form.”
