Man Utd ‘most serious contender’ for Sancho signing says expert
Manchester United target Jadon Sancho has dropped a hint he could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer. The Borussia Dortmund star has ‘liked’ a tweet on social media that claimed his head was already with the Red Devils. And that’s come just days after Kai Havertz did something similar amid speculation tipping the Bayer Leverkusen star to join Chelsea.
Manchester United have urged caution when it comes to this summer’s transfer window, with Ed Woodward insisting that it won’t be business as usual over at Old Trafford.
However, they’d still love to sign Sancho if they can find a way to get the deal done while operating with dignity and honour amid the coronavirus crisis.
And, now, the England international has dropped the biggest hint yet that he could be heading back to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens.
Sancho ‘liked’ a tweet on social media that suggested his head was already with United.
It was suggested that it was for that reason the forward wasn’t selected for Dortmund’s Bundesliga showdown with Schalke on Saturday night.
And it’s similar to what Havertz did just days ago.

The Leverkusen star has been backed to join Chelsea in this summer’s transfer window, with the Blues dreaming of pairing him alongside new signing Timo Werner.
And Havertz ‘liked’ a message from a supporter that urged the Blues to land Havertz.
United and Chelsea are both currently competing for a place in the Premier League top four as they target Champions League football next season.
And, after the weekend’s action, it’s the Blues who are now in pole position to rub shoulders with Europe’s elite.
United could only draw 1-1 with Tottenham on Friday night, relying on a Bruno Fernandes penalty to secure a point in north London.
"You can't stop the guy and at the same time he is very precise because he knows how to stop when passing the ball.
"It's really hard because players, for example Anthony (Martial) and (Marcus) Rashford, it can be hard for them because most of the time they're going so quick so it's hard to deliver the good pass like Juan Mata would do.
"Sancho has got that ability to address the right passes, the right weight of the pass because of his intelligence."
Other targets for United this summer include Jude Bellingham and Jack Grealish, of Birmingham and Aston Villa respectively.
