Man Utd: Bruno Fernandes shows off impressive skills in training
Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has now scored the same amount of penalties as David Beckham and Ryan Giggs for the club in the Premier League. The Portugal international found the net in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday. It was his second spot-kick for the Red Devils, with his first coming in the victory over Watford earlier in the season.
Fernandes has now scored two penalties for United in the Premier League - the exact same amount as club legends Beckham and Giggs managed throughout their Old Trafford spells.
The Portugal international’s latest spot-kick was crucial, with the goal enough for the Red Devils to leave Tottenham with a point to their name on Friday night.
Giggs scored just two penalties for United in the league throughout his time at the club.
The Wales boss, who tops the appearance charts for the team, scored a brace from 12 yards in a 3-1 win over Tottenham back in 2010.
Those goals were enough for United to keep their slim hopes of Premier League title glory alive but, in the end, they missed out on the prize to Chelsea.

“The options that he now provides because of that, his energy, his ability to pick the right pass, whereas before he arrived they were struggling in that position, and if Pogba is going to play on a regular basis, or decides to stay, then it could be a very, very good partnership.”
United legend Peter Schmeichel recently hailed Fernandes for his form at United.
“We made this incredible signing in Bruno Fernandes in January,” he told Express Sport.
“He’s changed the whole mood around he club, whole mood around the supporters. We’ve got this guy who appears to be so down to earth, so considerate to everyone.
