Man Utd: Paul Pogba tipped by pundit to renew contract
Manchester United star Paul Pogba has been scrutinised all season long amid uncertainty over his Old Trafford future. But any concerns that the 27-year-old isn’t fully committed must surely go away now after his side’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham. The France international could be seen celebrating Bruno Fernandes’ equaliser against Spurs with gusto - suggesting he’s determined for the club to succeed.
It’s been nearly a year now since Pogba expressed a desire to leave United for a new challenge elsewhere, amid transfer interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
The France international has endured a troublesome campaign, with injuries limiting him to just nine appearances across all competitions.
But, on Friday night against Tottenham, Pogba was back with a bang.
The United star was instrumental in the club escaping north London with a point to their name, with the 27-year-old playing a vital role in Fernandes’ equaliser.
Pogba was fouled inside the penalty box by Eric Dier, with Fernandes then converting from 12 yards.

And the France international was visibly delighted with his team-mate finding the net, with replays managing to catch his reaction.
Pogba could be seen clenching his fists and with his head down in a show of his delight at Fernandes levelling the scores.
And he also fist-bumped the Portugal international after the goal, congratulating his team-mate for converting his chance.
After the game, Fernandes admitted that he was thrilled to have played alongside Pogba for the first time - and insisting there’s more to come from their partnership.
“We have been training hard in the past weeks,” Fernandes told Sky Sports.
“He expects a lot. He wants to be the best, loves football and has had such a frustrating season with his injuries.
"There'll always be talk about big players.
“For me, Paul's shown today how he can contribute. He tackled, won the ball, created chances and had the skill to win us a penalty. I look forward to getting him fitter and gradually we'll see him more and more.
"It’s not a problem having a fit Paul Pogba in the squad, we're delighted to have him back."
United are next in action against Sheffield United on Wednesday night (8pm) as they aim to return to winning ways.
