Man Utd: Paul Pogba tipped by pundit to renew contract
Manchester United saw Sir Alex Ferguson step down back in 2013, shortly after guiding the club to the Premier League title. In the years since David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho have all come and gone having failed to land the trophy fans want the most. But how would United do if the Scot had Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s current squad? Express Sport will now take a look.

Defence: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Axel Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams
Ferguson would likely have gone after Aaron Wan-Bissaka after the right-back impressed in the Premier League with Crystal Palace last summer.
And it’s feasible to think he’d have splashed the cash on Harry Maguire, too, with the England international arriving from Leicester in 2019.
Alongside him, Ferguson may have made Axel Tuanzebe a first-team regular.
The Scot always liked using the Red Devils academy and Tuanzebe is highly-rated behind the scenes, despite injury hampering him this season.
At left-back, Brandon Williams would likely have the position nailed down. Luke Shaw would have been gone long ago, having blown hot and cold ever since his move from Southampton in 2014.

Attack: Daniel James, Mason Greenwood, Odion Ighalo, Marcus Rashford
It’s a 4-4-2 formation which means that, on the flanks, Daniel James and Marcus Rashford would likely have been selected.
Ferguson loved playing with traditional wingers and James, certainly, is up that streak.
It’s hard to see the Scot having an issue with playing Marcus Rashford on the left wing, particularly given that’s where the England international has been at his blockbuster best.
Homegrown talent Mason Greenwood would start every week.
And Odion Ighalo would have been more to Ferguson’s liking than Anthony Martial. The Frenchman is talented but sulky - and the United legend wouldn’t like that.
