Man United 'mismanaged' by Woodward and Glazers says expert
Sources familiar to the Saudis claim Manchester United’s owners the Glazers would have sold the club for between £4billion and £5b, reports say. However, the American family are set to stay in the power positions, with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman now going for Newcastle instead. The Toon are set to become one of the richest clubs on the planet when the takeover goes through.
Manchester United have drifted under the Glazers in recent years, with fans turning on them as a result.
They’ve been accused of not caring, of putting profit before football by many supporters - who have vented their fury in their direction at matchdays this season.
Earlier in the season United were of interest to the Saudis.

However, with the Saudis now focused on taking over from Mike Ashley at Newcastle instead, it appears they’re set to stay in power at Old Trafford.

They’ve smashed the club’s transfer records for David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
But the likes of Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba have failed to lift the club to the dizzying heights of old.
