Man Utd: Fernandes has been 'the inspiration' says pundit
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy with the mentality of his four permanent signings so far, reports say. The Red Devils have spent big under the Norwegian to bring the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James to Old Trafford during his reign.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho in December 2018 with the aim of turning the club around.
And, though it’s been tricky at times, the Norwegian has managed to steer the club to within touching distance of the Premier League top four.
United decided to back Solskjaer heavily in the transfer market in the summer and succeeded in snapping up James, Wan-Bissaka and Maguire from Swansea, Crystal Palace and Leicester.
Then, in January, they forked out £46million in order to secure Fernandes’ signature amid competition from Tottenham.
And ESPN say Solskjaer is happy with the four signings he’s made throughout his time at Old Trafford so far.
He feels they have the right mentality to succeed at the club, believing them all to be vital as he sets about a cultural rebuild of the club.

Wan-Bissaka has also been integral during that reign, with the right-back going from strength to strength.
James has been in fine form since the arrival of Fernandes from Sporting, with the Wales international a winger reborn.
And Fernandes himself has been a revelation, scoring three goals and registering three assists from eight outings so far.
United want players with the right mentality to play for the club.
And United supremo Ed Woodward has vowed to back Solskjaer in the transfer market going forward, saying recently: “The recruitment department is working to a clear plan and philosophy, along with Ole and his coaching staff.
