Man Utd: Harry Kane will not move to club says expert
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has Tottenham hitman Harry Kane on a list of four striker transfer targets for the summer window, according to reports. The England international could leave Spurs at the end of the season having grown infuriated with life under Jose Mourinho, who has failed to arrest the club’s slump since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino back in October.
Manchester United want to sign a new striker at the end of the campaign despite having Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Odion Ighalo (loan) currently on their books.
And the Evening Standard name Kane as one of four players on the Red Devils’ radar.
The Tottenham star is annoyed with Spurs’ failure to challenge for the biggest titles on offer, particularly now they’re in a slump under Mourinho.
Signing him wouldn’t be easy, though, with Tottenham chief Daniel Levy known for being a tough negotiator.
It could take United as much as £150million to bring Kane to Old Trafford, with Spurs likely to demand a premium fee for their captain.
But he’s not the only player on their transfer radar ahead of the summer.

And, speaking recently, the Norwegian outlined his attacking philosophy.
"I am always going to be demanding that when we’ve got the ball, we will try to make the most of it. Pass forward, run forward, and be that type of football team,” the Norwegian said.
“Manchester City made it hard for us. Of course if they’d let us have 70 per cent possession, I’d take it.
“They won’t let you but there are loads of other teams who will let you have 70 per cent possession and we are getting players in that can play that style as well.
"You can see for example Odion, he is that style of striker we’ve missed. That is the type of striker you need in that system, that way of playing.
"Of course we are always going to try to evolve and be better and better. I’d like a team to have control of the game but you have to be able to attack quickly when you have the ball."
