Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is set to battle Bayern Munich and Ajax to complete the transfer of Aston Villa forward Jaden Philogene-Bidace, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Manchester City are interested in signing Aston Villa youngster Jaden Philogene-Bidace. The left-sided winger has drawn attention from a number of European giants this season, including Bayern Munich and Ajax.

City could be looking to sign a new left-sided forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Leroy Sane looks increasingly likely to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, with Bayern Munich's interest not waning.
But it's unlikely that Philogene-Bidace would jump straight into the first team.
Youngsters Eric Garcia and Phil Foden have both had to wait for the chances under Pep Guardiola, and they're both older than the Villa forward.

Guardiola was asked about summer transfers last month.
He said: “I don’t know. I have an idea, but there's been no contact from anyone in terms of that because during the season, I am not ready too much to think about that.
“Of course, we have to make plans and do something because David Silva is leaving, and in some positions we are going to do it.
“But I don’t know how many or how much because the market is always difficult.
“There are still two or three months and things can change a lot."
