De Bruyne was one of City’s best players in the Champions League first leg win over Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
City won the tie 2-1, despite going a goal down early in the second half.
De Bruyne provided the assist for Gabriel Jesus’ equaliser, after superbly creating enough space in the Real Madrid box to deliver a pin-point cross.
He then stepped up to take the match-winning penalty in the final 10 minutes of the match.
