The option of Rondon was also explored, but according to The Sun, he doesn’t want to move away from China, despite the coronavirus crisis in the country.
The Chinese Super League has been suspended as a result of the virus but any potential switch to United is not likely to happen.
Rondon is currently in Malaga in Spain where he’s in training camp with the rest of his Dalian team-mates.
