Chelsea: Lampard addresses Christensen transfer rumours
Chelsea have decided not to sign either Nathan Ake or Callum Wilson this month, despite Lampard having a £40million buy-back option on Ake. City had been linked with a move for Ake, after Guardiola’s numerous defensive injury problems this season.
The Citizens are searching for a new centre-back after failing to replace Vincent Kompany during the summer, it’s been reported.
Meanwhile, Chelsea had also been linked with a move for Wilson this month.
Lampard’s side have been watching the striker throughout the campaign.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have reportedly been interested in signing Lyon striker Moussa Dembele this month.
But, Lampard claimed to be surprised to see the speculation, and confirmed that the club aren’t discussing a deal for the forward.
Asked whether any deals were close to being completed, Lampard said: “No, not at the moment. But what is close? It’s January, and if it’s right we’ll look at it.
“Nothing’s imminent, we’re not going to have any big news today, or tomorrow.”
