Borussia Dortmund: Haaland felt team was a 'good match'
Mino Raiola was instrumental in Manchester United missing out on the signing of Erling Braut Haaland. The super-agent told the young striker that he should snub Old Trafford because the climate at the club wasn’t right.
Manchester United were desperate to sign Haaland before the January transfer window began.
The Red Devils prioritised a move for the 19-year-old Norwegian, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believed to be pushing hard for a deal towards the end of the last year.
Haaland had a superb start to the season with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, having netted 28 times in 22 games.
He quickly became the most sought-after asset in Europe, and was wanted by a host of teams.

United are in disarray at the moment, despite Saturday’s win over relegation-threatened Norwich.
Fans appear to have lost patience with Solskjaer and Woodward’s leadership of the side, with Mauricio Pochettino believed to be waiting in the wings along with Massimiliano Allegri in case the Norwegian is fired.
After missing out on Haaland, they now appear to be focusing on signing a new midfielder, with Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes close to joining.
The midfielder, who has scored 15 goals in 25 games this season, is believed to be close to agreeing a deal to join the Red Devils.
