Spurs: Parlour says Eriksen will hold out for free transfer
Tottenham star Christian Eriksen looks set to snub a move to Manchester United in January for the second time. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tried to sign Eriksen in the summer but a move never materialised as the unsettled Spurs star opted to wait for Real Madrid to to make an offer and bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The only thing I will tell you about Christian is that I would like him to sign a new contract

According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils’ second bid is also likely to fail next month when they weigh in with a cut-price £20million offer.
The Denmark international will be given permission to negotiate with foreign clubs from the start of January as his contract runs out in June and he seems unwilling to put pen to paper on a new deal.
The 27-year-old could also run his contract to the end as he knows Europe’s heavy hitters, like Real and Juventus, will find it easier to sign him as a free agent.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho, though has urged the Danish star to stay as he sees him as an integral part to his plans.

Mourinho wants him to follow the example of Toby Alderweireld who finally agreed to a new three-year extension on Friday and advised Jan Vertonghen, who is also said to be unsettled, to do the same.
The Portuguese manager said: “Toby's statement for me was beautiful, simple: "I couldn't be happier in another place".
"In football now there are some people that it looks like they are sometimes more important than players and the clubs, and these people are very important sometimes in decisions, in solutions.
"In this case the family and the agents were happy to make the player happy. So it was easy.
