Goal claim that James Maddison or Christian Eriksen could be the player to do just that.
United have been keeping a close eye on Maddison since he arrived in the Premier League, joining Leicester from Norwich.
He has been at the heart of the Foxes’ fine form this season, which sees them sit second in the table.
Brendan Rodgers has already made it clear that he is not interested in letting Maddison leave mid-season.

As for Eriksen, he could be on his way out of Tottenham with his contract set to expire in the summer.
Tottenham have struggled to negotiate a new deal with the Dane over the past 18 months and are expected to let him leave the club.
An offer in January could tempt Daniel Levy, given that he could be about to lose the midfielder for nothing.
It appears that Haaland is the club’s leading transfer target though as the race for his signature intensifies.

Solskjaer recently explained that he believes the arrival of another striker would spur Marcus Rashford on, as opposed to disrupting his red-hot form.
He told Sky Sports: “I was a player here for 11 years and I can't tell you how many strikers we signed that were supposedly going to take my place in the team or in the squad.
"That's the challenge of being at Manchester United. You are never, ever guaranteed to play every game unless you perform to the absolute best of your ability.
"That's down to Marcus, in the end, but what I would say is that he wants this squad to be as strong as possible.
“We all want to win games, we all want to win trophies and you don't do that with 11 players."
