What next for Man Utd? The three signings to make after Aaron Wan-Bissaka seals move
MANCHESTER UNITED are set to make Aaron Wan-Bissaka their second signing of the summer transfer window, but who could follow the defender in joining the club?
Man United: Wan-Bissaka is the RIGHT decision says pundit
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to make a recognisable mark on his playing squad ahead of his first full season as manager at Old Trafford.
Although he has plenty of money at his disposal, the Norwegian is keen to avoid a mistake made by his predecessors by spending large sums of money on short-term projects.
The signing of Swansea’s Daniel James set the tone with a £15million initial fee, followed by Wan-Bissaka, and three more players should be lined up.
Two current Premier League players, as well as a European wildcard need to be on the list, with United bosses keen to get their business done early.
Maddison was quick to impress potential suitors after making his Premier League debut while at Leicester last season.
The 22-year-old joined the Foxes from Norwich City in 2018 for a fee of around £20m and is likely to cost around treble that to tempt Brendan Rodgers to sell up.
Maddison notched seven goals and seven assists in his 35 starts in the league, which has seen United consider making a mammoth offer.
Despite a disappointing European Championship campaign with the Under-21s, United could move forward with an inquiry later this week.

Sean Longstaff - Newcastle United
Newcastle midfielder Longstaff has been considered by United as a long-term project after impressing after making his debut at the start of last season.
His display in the club’s 2-1 win over champions Manchester City in January caught the eye of scouts, and a move could be made this week.
Despite missing most of the year with a knee ligament injury, United scouts saw enough potential to make him a possible transfer target.
The 21-year-old could replace Ander Herrera at Old Trafford after he left to join Paris Saint-Germain and is a more defensive option than Maddison.
