Rangers coach Gary McAllister sends Alfredo Morelos message as Ibrox chiefs consider sale
RANGERS assistant boss Gary McAllister has warned Alfredo Morelos that he needs to learn from his actions in order to improve the terrible disciplinary record which has left his future in doubt.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos may have scored 29 goals in all competitions this season, but Steven Gerrard decided not to hand Morelos a start after he returned from his three-match ban at the beginning of the month.
He has also been snubbed by Columbia boss Carlos Queiroz for this summer’s Copa America and Rangers hero Barry Ferguson even urged the club to sell up.
Gary McAllister, who was brought to Glasgow by Gerrard last June, has spoken out on Morelos, who received five red cards in all competitions this season.

“Hopefully the penny is dropping - but he'll be fine."
Despite Morelos seeing his contract extended in March, Gerrard admitted shortly after that he could no longer trust the 22-year-old.
“I’ll deal with that internally. He will be punished,” Gerrard said after Morelos was dismissed against Celtic later that month.
“The punishment will be financial and the money will go to the supporters who went to the game today.

“I think it’s only right. He’s let his teammates and the club down again.
“I can’t defend him anymore. I think I’ve gone above and beyond.
“He’s still a fantastic player, I’ll still protect him, but it gets to a line and he was probably already above that line with me.
“I can’t defend it anymore. I will recommend to the board that he is fined a week’s wages and I will also recommend that that money goes to the fans.”
Express Sport understands Gerrard and Ibrox chiefs are mulling over whether to sell Morelos should a suitable offer from one of a number of interested clubs come in.
