The Argentine also gave an update on the multiple injured players in his squad at present.
He explained: “Barry Douglas will play on Friday with the Under-23s, which is his final step to getting back to the group if everything goes well.
“Gaetano Beradi will need more competition and he will play on Friday.

“It is not the case with Adam Forshaw, because of his injury he will need more time.
“It will be hard for him to come back in the next two games and it will be the same thing for Kemar Roofe and Jack Clarke.
“For Stuart Dallas it was a little less hard for him to recover his performance fitness and he will be in the group on Saturday.”
